Hello Everyone!
I am really excited to join the Glass+ Team.
My name is Fan Yang, and I am now working as Junior SAP consults in Mr. Dumont's Team.
My last job was at a market research company in Paris. I have remotely contracted with them for more than five years to help them conduct
assessments and complete mystery customer service surveys.
Before that, I worked as an accountant and financial analyst using the ERP system Yonyou for nearly two years for an energy company in Frankfurt.
I graduated from the University of Mainz with a Master of
Science in 2014. My major is International Economics and Public Policy, and I
specialize in Applied Statistics.
When I first graduated, I considered getting a job in the
SAP industry. However, due to visa pressure, I accepted the first offer from
the company that offered me a job. Because of that, I authentically learned the
business's basics, especially in the finance department.
Throughout my work experience, I have had problems with the
ERP system I used.
(For example, when I needed to prepare financial statements
at the end of each month, there were often errors in analyzing the accounts
payable period. Sometimes, it was an IT setup error; sometimes, it was a period
entry error. )
No matter the error, troubleshooting and correcting took quite a bit of time. If I knew the logic behind the ERP system or the settings, the problem could have been simplified. These kinds of experiences deepened
my determination to become an ERP practitioner.
I am excited to be an SAP consultant for the Glass+ family. I chose Glass+ because of its industry-leading position across Europe. Since
its foundation in 2008, Glass+ has performed exceptionally well in
technological innovation and quality control, perfectly matching my career
goals. I hope to contribute my abilities and grow by working for such a
visionary and stable company.
I want to combine my experience with understanding the
business requirements to better serve our Glass+ colleagues. I will learn the
processes of the company's departments as soon as possible to participate in
implementing and maintaining SAP modules. When I have some work experience, I hope to be promoted to SAP senior
consultant in the next few years.
